Dydrogesterone is an orally-active progestogen. It induces a complete secretory endometrium in an oestrogen-primed uterus. This action offers protection against the heightened risk of endometrial hyperplasia and carcinogenesis associated with estrogen use.

✔️ Dosage & Administration of Safyron 10mg Tablet

Oral Endometriosis (Adult):

• Initial Dose: 10 mg twice to thrice daily.
• Administration: Can be given cyclically or continuously.

Recurrent Miscarriage (Adult):

• Initial Dose: 10 mg twice daily, given cyclically until conception.
• During Pregnancy: Continue at the same dose until week 20 of pregnancy.
• Post Week 20: Gradually reduce the dose.

Menstrual Disorders (Adult):

• Dosage: 10 mg twice daily.
• Administration: Follow a cyclical regimen.

Threatened Miscarriage (Adult):

• Initial Dose: 40 mg initially, followed by 10 mg or more every 8 hours.
• Duration: Continue for a week after symptoms subside.
• Gradual Reduction: Reduce dose gradually unless symptoms return.
